In October each year, Dutchess District Masons, their family members and friends visit the Masonic Care Community (MCC) in Utica, NY to distribute Christmas gifts to 400 residents living in the Health Pavilion and Wiley Hall.  Masons, family members and friends meet the Sunday before the visit to wrap and prepare gifts.  At 7:30 am on the morning of the visit travelers to Utica board a bus at Hendrick Hudson Lodge #875, 9 Graves Street, Red Hook, NY 12571 for the three-hour ride to the MCC.  Along the way refreshments, including coffee, other drinks and pastries are served.  Once at the MCC, participants are provided with a tour of the campus, and served a luncheon prior to distributing gifts.  At approximately 3:30 participants board the bus for the return trip to Red Hook.
